The steps for cleaning the fabric of your custom pop up tents can be summed as follows:

1. Apply Stain Repellant to Your Tent

The first thing you will need to do is apply stain repellant to your custom canopy tent. Keep in mind that the fabric we use for our custom canopy graphic is durable, weather resistant, and fully UV proof. Our wrinkle resistant, durable water repellent tents are designed to stand up to even the most pressing level of wear and tear.

To begin with, you can apply a specially designed stain and repellent solution to the fabric at the very top of the tent. This can be a solution such as Scotchguard or others of that kind. The exact brand that you choose for the job will not matter as long as the basic function of getting rid of stains on tent fabric is kept in mind.

Once you have the stain repellant you wish to use, the idea will be to spray it on the fabric in generous fashion. This will help prevent the further building up of dirt, grime, stains of various kinds, and unwanted water penetration. Using the repellent often will be the way to prevent the outbreak of further mold and mildew infestations.

2. Take Care & Clean the Fabric Correctly

Your next step should be to use the maximum level of care while cleaning the fabric of your 600D cavass fabric tent. This will be one of the easiest operations you’ve ever had to do. It’s even simpler now that you have already added stain repellant to the mix. With this preparation already made, the dirt and grime should roll right off.

All you need to do at this point is put plenty of warm water in a bowl or other container. Add the right amount of hand soap or dish washing soap for the needs of the job. From there, you can use a soft bristle brush to do the actual scrubbing. As long as you have softened up the fabric, the work will be not too difficult.

Before you begin the operation, make sure that you use warm water to soften up all the various bits of dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Let it soak completely in the repellent for the recommended amount of time. Once this operation is concluded, please make sure you let it dry completely before put away for storage.

3. Take Care the Walls of Your Custom Tent

Walls are the part easy to get dirt and stains even damages in use. Cleaning the walls of your various trade show display tents is easier than ever. The general idea is to dust them off and clean then completely from top to bottom. You can then simply let them all dry out completely before placing them back into storage. This will go a long way toward helping to keep them in good shape for future displays.

If you are currently using a tent with full color printing walls, you want to keep it fully vibrant and recognizable. Its appearance needs to be top notch in order to make a good impression. Same as general rules, employ Scotchguard or other form of stain repellant before use is a good idea, especially the footer area.

If the walls did get dirty, the best thing to do will still be to make use of ordinary soap and water. Scrub the dirt, grime, mold and mildew off with a soft to medium bristle brush. When the scrubbing is complete, wipe it down gently with a soft cloth. Make sure they are totally dry before storage to prevent mildews.

4. Keep Your Tent Colors from Fading

All of the custom tents that we sell use full color printing. This results in a fabric that is durable and weather resistant. However, you will need to devote a bit of time and effort to helping it stay that way. You want to keep your bright vibrant colors as far away from UV exposure as possible. Doing so will extend its lifespan by years.

Keep in mind that colors such as black, dark or navy blue, purple, and red tend to fade away faster under UV rays than others. For this reason, you will need to know how to store your tent in the correct fashion.

5. Store Your Tent Correctly to Extend its Lifespan

The final step will be to store your tent in the correct fashion in order to extend its lifespan for as long as possible. After you have scrubbed it off, make sure to dry it completely from top to bottom, leaving no damp spots anywhere on the fabric. You can then place the graphic into a storage bag to keep it safely out of the light.

The storage and carrying bags that you use should be made of polyester fabric. This will allow you to use solutions such as Simple Green along with soap and water to clean the fabric. This is important since the fabric itself is durable but not indestructible. You want to keep it out of the elements, especially water and UV rays.

The more you reduce the exposure of your tent to the weather, the less you will need to worry about the fabric deteriorating. This is expensive property that you will need to store over a long period of time. Keep the carrying case in a secure and dry place.
