How to Assemble Custom Flags
  • Ropes: Use the sewn ropes to tie your custom banners to the project.
  • Pole Pockets: Insert the pole/stake into the sleeve of the pole pockets, securing the pole/stake making sure the banner displays lay flat. You can also use the bottom pockets to add some extra weight of your custom banner to hang it perfectly.
  • D-rings: you can use strings, ropes, cords, or zip ties to loop through the D-rings to secure your custom banners in place.
  • Grommets: you can use string, ropes, cords, or zip ties to loop through the grommets to secure your custom banners in place.
  • Velcro Strips: Attach the loop strip and hook the strip to secure the custom banner in place.

The best way to design large banners in photoshop is to design them to the size you need them in. You want to use a minimum of 150dpi when designing your large banners for best printing quality. They can be designed to scale but dpi need to be taken into account for this when enlarging them.

Designing large banners in Illustrator is an easy process. These banners can be made to any proportional size to keep the files small. All outlines need to be created with embedded images and they need to be designed in CMYK color mode.

Large banner printing is easiest found on the internet. Lush Banners offers large format prints for your custom banner needs. We offer vinyl banners up to 30ft x 40ft and fabric banners in any size you need.

Large banners costs can range based on their size. The range can be form about 150 to over a few thousand depending on your finishings and extras.

Logos that are vector file formats are ready to go for large banner printing. Just make sure it is in the CMYK color mode. For logos that are raster images, make sure that when scaled to size you are in 150 dpi and check the quality by zooming in on your computer screen to 100% for the best printing representation.

Our custom vinyl banners come in different weights. 18 oz vinyl is the best option for large outdoor banners as this material is heavy duty and highly water resistant. 18 oz vinyl banners are however not the best option for extra large banners due to their heavy weight. If you would like to print on a very large banner, we would advise to choose 13oz, mesh or fabric as your banner material.

We offer three different banner materials - mesh, fabric and vinyl banners.For a very large banner, we would advise to choose fabric as your banner material. Fabric banners allow for much easier setup and transportation. As the fabric can be sewn into any size, not like vinyl or mesh banners, there is a limitation of 10ft of printing material , which means many panels will be necessary to be glued together, not as tough as sewed.

Short answer is Yes! Fabric or cloth is a great material for large or extra large outdoor banners. Fabric banners are also wrinkle resistant with minimal light reflection. Both fabric and vinyl banners can be used indoors or outdoors but fabric banners have a more vibrant and high end look.
