How to Assemble Custom Printed Flags

Installing a flag onto a standard flagpole is a quick and simple process. The free grommets on our custom flags will allow you to attachment to most flagpoles with clips or hooks. Just adjust the clips to match the locations of the grommets to ensure the flag is pulled flat on the reinforced strip. When displaying without a flagpole, you can use string, rope, or a zip tie to loop them through the grommets to secure it in place.

How to Assemble Custom Flags
  • Grommets: you can use string, ropes, cords, or zip ties to loop through the grommets to secure your custom flags in place.
  • Pole Pockets: Insert the pole/stake into the sleeve of the pole pockets, securing the pole/stake making sure the banner displays lay flat. You can also use the bottom pockets to add some extra weight of your custom flag to hang it perfectly.
  • Reinforced Strip with Clips: you can use strings, ropes, cords, or zip ties to loop through the D-rings to secure your personalized flags in place.
  • Ropes: Use the sewn ropes to tie your custom flag to the project.

Hanging a flag onto a standard flagpole is a quick and simple process. The free grommets on custom flags will allow you to attach flags to most flagpoles with clips or hooks. When displaying without a flagpole, you can use string, rope, or a zip tie to loop them through the grommets to secure it in place.

Simple put: you need a rotating pole design in place. Go with pole set with rotating design, or some accessories on the market can make the connection rotating, like Never Furl.

If halyard and rope are in place, make sure you tie the end of the rope securely on the halyard. If you’re using grommets and zip ties, you can use nails or tape to make sure the tie and grommets stay in place.

Easy task! Grommets are made of metal or plastic rings to prevent ropes, cables or zip ties to damage your flags. Simply make a loop of the rope and pull the rope through the eyelets; Or using zip ties to secure the flag in place using grommets.

3ft x 5ft is the most common size for 20ft residential poles. 3ft x 6ft; 4ft x 6ft are good choices as well depending on your artwork design.

Custom pole flags are rectangular in shape and are made specifically for displaying on its own or on a pole. Feather Flags, Flag Banners, Bow Flags, Teardrop Banners and other similarly styled flags are specially shaped and designed with a pole socket to fit a flexible pole. They do not have grommets and are made for indoor or outdoor advertising purposes. They usually are equipped with a stake or a base, and are very tall for optimal viewing when displayed outdoors. These types of poles are primarily used for businesses and event promotions. Unlike other advertising options like bumper stickers or vinyl lettering, custom large flags are designed to move with the wind and grab more attention that way. Custom flags are great for both indoor and outdoor displays. Though they can be displayed on their own indoors as banners and informational displays, they are durable and weather resistant to last outdoors when secured to the flagpole.
